I purchased the Eleanor Sewing table but I am not able to leave a review on it.
Disappointed as when I drop the leaf to use the insert it doesn’t line up, it’s either too low or too high, when I contacted the head office I got this response
“Thank you for your inquiry, we apologize but the Eleanor table is not fine tune adjustable. You may need to put a mat under your machine or add some feet to raise it to sit flush with your insert.”
If this doesn’t fine tune to then they should say so as I wasted money on purchasing the insert that I can’t use as putting a mat under my machine is not going to lift it enough for it to work. I couldn’t have just purchased a standing desk as this table is useless for what its intended use was for. Its just an over priced standing desk with a cut out.

Thank you for reaching out! Eleanor’s lift platform has a maximum depth of 3 15/16”. Machines with a throat plate measuring taller than 3 15/16″ will not fit the Eleanor table. This information has been added to the listing per your suggestion.
We are constantly looking for ways to improve our products, and getting honest feedback from our customers is the best way to achieve that goal. We thank you for reaching out here, and invite you to send photos and further details to us at cs@arrowsewing.com so that our Product Development Team can engineer a fix for you.
Hoping to hear more from you! Until then, wishing you Happy Sewing.

I absolutely love the Tasmanian Tables I have (2) of them! One I use as a cutting table at my quilt/fabric shop and the other I use at home in my sewing room/office! When I want to cut out a pattern, I crank her up and when I need to spread out my office stuff, i crank her down to desk level! Very sturdy!

Just got my table today! My 12 YO daughter and I got it from the car (3 REALLY BIG boxes) into the house and put together in just over an hour. Instructions could use some help. I see how some people would have a hard time getting through them successfully the first time.

The table seems to be well designed and built from good quality materials. The top is either melamine or well- veneered particleboard or plywood, the frame is steel, and although there were a couple places where the paint wasn’t complete (specifically at a couple holes), this is an indoor table that won’t see weather; I’m not concerned about that. the one real weak spot was the screws that fasten the top to the frame. They are really long, you need a Phillips screwdriver, (the ONE tool not provided in the hardware kit & the one tool not mentioned in the instructions!) and if you don’t lube the screws with bar soap or beeswax, you’ll be lucky to get them completely installed w/o a power drill.

I can’t wait to give my new table a try.

These were my husband’s comments who put the table together:
“I was amazed. Most stuff you buy to put together is poor quality. This thing was built like a brick outhouse with real welds and gussets and went together well. The legs raise up and down with a STEEL hex shaft connecting the two legs like a semi trailer. Good job, Gail.”

It is very sturdy and I’m going to love it!
