I absolutely love the Tasmanian Tables I have (2) of them! One I use as a cutting table at my quilt/fabric shop and the other I use at home in my sewing room/office! When I want to cut out a pattern, I crank her up and when I need to spread out my office stuff, i crank her down to desk level! Very sturdy!

Just got my table today! My 12 YO daughter and I got it from the car (3 REALLY BIG boxes) into the house and put together in just over an hour. Instructions could use some help. I see how some people would have a hard time getting through them successfully the first time.
The table seems to be well designed and built from good quality materials. The top is either melamine or well- veneered particleboard or plywood, the frame is steel, and although there were a couple places where the paint wasn’t complete (specifically at a couple holes), this is an indoor table that won’t see weather; I’m not concerned about that. the one real weak spot was the screws that fasten the top to the frame. They are really long, you need a Phillips screwdriver, (the ONE tool not provided in the hardware kit & the one tool not mentioned in the instructions!) and if you don’t lube the screws with bar soap or beeswax, you’ll be lucky to get them completely installed w/o a power drill.
I can’t wait to give my new table a try.

These were my husband’s comments who put the table together: “I was amazed. Most stuff you buy to put together is poor quality. This thing was built like a brick outhouse with real welds and gussets and went together well. The legs raise up and down with a STEEL hex shaft connecting the two legs like a semi trailer. Good job, Gail.”
It is very sturdy and I’m going to love it!
