I purchased this on March 12/2021, and finally had help to assemble it in June 2021. Began using, and it is not what I had hoped it would be for me, and am sorry I spent the money. Positives: *sturdy and nice footprint, and I like the wheels *once hydraulic lift is adjusted, it works as advertised, although if you are an older person with waning strength, it take muscle to push machine and bed down *machine is close enough to front of cabinet to make sewing accessible.
Negatives: *It took my brother (who is very capable) and me (semi-capable in comparison) almost 8 hours to assemble cabinet. Instructions were detailed, but do not expect it to be quick. It is a two-person job. *I’m not a tall or a large person, yet I experience very limited leg room in the box area under my machine. If I raise my chair so I can sit comfortably to sew, my knees hit against the edge of the lift table. *My foot pedal catches under the lip of the frame, so I constantly have to move it. As a result, I’m using the tip of my toes to drive the machine, which gives limited control. When I move it away it’s almost under my chair, making it very uncomfortable to sit and work. I tried putting something under the pedal to raise it above the lip, and that meant I had to raise my chair, with the above issue of knees too close to the lift table. *I knock my leg on the box on the left door – granted it can be removed, but it is a problem in design. Overall, this is a very uncomfortable set up for me, which limits my ability to sew and quilt. I recommend others consider this aspect before spending the money. I’m sorry I didn’t have a store nearby so I could test the usability. Sally Atkinson

I’ve had mine for several years. I didn’t find it difficult to put together at all. There are a lot of pieces, but the directions were After my machine, it’s the best thing in my sewing room. I wish I had the space for one of the larger cabinets, but this one is the perfect size for my space, really nice looking, and very sturdy. I can’t say enough nice things about this cabinet.

The reviews about being tough to assemble almost put me off, but I really wanted that air lift! It was EASY to assemble alone – and I say that as a 70+ woman. I love my new Kangaroo Bandicoot!

Thank you for honest feedback. We are sorry to hear it has taken you a long time to put the Bandicoot together. Moving forward we will make sure customers are aware there is assembly required and that we highly recommend an electric screwdriver.
